You either love or hate the whole Fifty Shades of Grey concept, but even if you dislike it, if you can look past the packaging, the products are in fact extremely well made and good quality. The bed spreader is no exception to the rule and arrives in classy looking packaging with a discreet inner black box which could be used to store your restrain if you wanted to take it on your travels.
Easy to instal
Putting the spreader on the bed is relatively easy but you definitely need two people since one has to lift the mattress while the other slides the spreader into position. Luckily there's no right or wrong way to do this since all four cuffs are the same size.
Unlike most bed spreaders, the bungee element of this design means that there's a lot of resistance. Think of those exercise bands to tone your arms and you'll know what I mean! This means that you have to be careful not to have the straps too short or your partner will feel as if they are undergoing some form of medieval torture! You can however make them feel a little more restrained than they really are by shortening the straps so that they're ever so slightly stretched, but make sure that they're not uncomfortable.
Comfortable cuffs
The cuffs are very pretty and exceptionally comfortable with a lot of padding so that you don't feel any rubbing on your skin. The colour is also one which will match most decors, bed sheets and curtains, which might matter for some people. Very spacious, the cuffs will fit any size of person big or small, male or female since they fasten to the required size with velcro.
Overall this set is very easy to use and great fun too. It also comes with a blindfold and a door hanger which is fun if there's just the two of you in your house. Otherwise it makes it pretty obvious what's going on behind the closed door.
But Why Buy??!
We're gradually adding to our collection of the Fifty Shades of Grey toys and devices and as usual we couldn't fault this item. I rather liked the bungee straps as it was fun to fight against them and enjoy a bit of a struggle which for me is a bit of a turn on. Also easy to swap places quickly and with the minimum of interruption to your play.
