Using a Vibrator
Most vibrators do not include an instruction manual or a “how to” book. So, beginner vibrator users are often left to fend for themselves. Of course, you can stumble through the learning curve. However, we believe that providing you a few beginner helpful hints will make the experience far more enjoyable for you. Don’t you agree?
First Things First
Take your new vibrator out of the package. Insert the batteries and get familiar with the buttons or switches. This will introduce you to the various speeds or settings your vibrator has. Wash your vibrator before using it. If it is not a waterproof model, take great care to not get any water near the battery case. Do not submerse the vibrator in water. You can use a soft cloth and warm soapy water to clean it. Use a hypoallergenic soap or a cleaner made specifically for your vibrator.

Make Friends with Your Vibrator
Start by getting comfortable with your new toy. Leave the power off for now. Run the vibrator along your body such as your inner arms, thighs or anywhere you want to try it. This will help you to become acquainted with the feel of it. Try pressing it firmly against your skin and massaging your muscles. If the vibrator doesn’t feel smooth on your skin, we suggest you try this technique with your clothes on. This is a great way to familiarize your body with the new vibrator.
Switch It On
Now that you have an idea of what it feels like, switch the vibrator on to the lowest setting. Begin by running it against your hands and feet. Granted the vibrator is mainly used on the vulva and clitoris, but you need to become accustomed to using it elsewhere first. Start with less sensitive areas to get a feel for the vibrations.
Now you can start experimenting with different levels of pressure and with the various speeds of the vibrator. Again, keep to less sensitive areas of the body for now.

Experiment
Once you have the hang of using the vibrator you can move on to the vulva and clitoris. Start on the lowest speed and minimal pressure. The clitoris has literally thousands of nerve endings and you may find the vibrations to be very intense on the first use. Take your time and take it easy. You’ll learn with time how much pressure to use and the speed that works best for you. It’s always best to start out slow and work your way up.
If the vibrations seem a bit too intense at first, you can place a towel between the vibrator and your clitoris.
